The Alchemy of Ecstasy: when the residential course ends, the journey continues

In August 2026, we experienced a new edition of our «The Alchemy of Ecstasy» residential workshop at the Hameau de l'Étoile.

A Tantra workshop does not truly end when the circle closes and everyone sets off home. What has been experienced continues its journey within, sometimes gently, sometimes intensely. The closure then becomes a precious moment: a space to lay down emotions, recognise the ground covered and prepare to return to daily life.

A final sharing circle to welcome what has been experienced

During the closing circle of «The Alchemy of Ecstasy», each participant was invited to share their main takeaway from the experience.

The spoken words bore witness to a deep gratitude: towards the group, the accompanying team, and all the experiences shared. Joy, relief, tenderness, but also sometimes a form of sadness at the thought of parting or returning to certain personal realities.

These emotions, different for everyone, all had their place. They told of the richness of a journey experienced together, in which bodies, hearts and minds had been able to open up at their own pace.

Meeting with greater truth

For some, the workshop helped achieve a personal goal, find answers or feel more aligned. For others, it marked the end of a chapter and the opening of a new period of life.

Several realisations emerged: recognising one's sensitivity, setting fairer boundaries, accepting one's irritations with greater gentleness, or listening to what the body is trying to express.

Tantra does not invite us to become an ideal version of ourselves. Instead, it proposes that we meet with sincerity what is already there: our light, our resistances, our fragilities, our impulses and our contradictions.

Growing through discomfort too

Not everything is always comfortable during a workshop. Certain practices, encounters or words can awaken unexpected emotions. Tensions, questioning or old anger may resurface.

These moments are not necessarily failures. When welcomed within a safe environment, they can become true gateways to better self-awareness.

Discomfort sometimes shows us the precise spot where a boundary needs to be set, where a wound needs to be heard, or where a transformation is seeking to take place.

The tantric path is therefore not about avoiding difficulties, but about learning to traverse them with greater presence, awareness and responsibility.

The power of a deeply human group

The diversity of the participants was one of the greatest assets of «The Alchemy of Ecstasy». Each person arrived with their own story, expectations, apprehensions, and unique way of relating to others.

Through shared practices and experiences, the group has become a space for exploration, learning and transformation. Differences have not hindered connection: they have nourished it.

For those discovering Tantra for the first time, this experience also provided a gentle, progressive and safe way to enter this world. Several expressed the desire to continue along this path and keep exploring this more conscious relationship with themselves, others and life.

Returning to the world without giving up one's openness

After several days of immersion, returning to daily life can create a disconnect. The body is more sensitive, the heart more open and perceptions sometimes sharper. Outside, however, the usual pace quickly resumes.

It is then essential to return gradually, remaining particularly vigilant on the road and attentive to one's internal state. It is also important not to assume that those around one are in the same space of openness.

The urge to share is natural, but there is no need to convince. Everyone moves at their own pace. Sharing one's experience with simplicity and compassion makes it possible to respect both what one has been through and the limits of those around us.

Learning how to open up and protect yourself wisely

After a workshop, it is possible for the body to close up little by little. This does not mean that everything has gone. The body now knows the path to openness and will be able to find it again.

Integration consists of staying attuned to one's sensations, emotions and needs. The body then becomes a true inner barometer. It tells us when to move forward, slow down, open up or protect ourselves.

Tantra does not ask us to remain constantly open. It teaches us how to open and close our spaces with intelligence, awareness and respect.

Making self-love a priority

One of the key lessons from this internship could be summarised as follows: no longer negotiating the respect one owes oneself.

Looking after oneself also means welcoming our inner child from the adult we have become. It is learning to love all the facets of our being, including those we judge as less attractive, less bright or less acceptable.

Choosing oneself does not mean rejecting others or acting with selfishness. It means building one's relationships from a fairer, more solid and more coherent space.

The Alchemy of Ecstasy continues to live within each of us

The TantrÂmour team remains available after the workshop to support any questions, emotions or processes that may continue to unfold. Integration is fully part of the experience.

We deeply thank each and every participant of «The Alchemy of Ecstasy» of August 2026 for their trust, their presence and their authenticity.

We would also like to thank Delphine and Rémy, the internship «angels», for the quality and kindness of their support throughout this adventure.

Other spaces for meeting, celebration and transformation will continue to be offered: the TantrÂmour Festival, our celebration of the transition into the New Year, and our upcoming residential courses at the Hameau de l'Étoile from March 2027 onwards.

For when the circle closes, the path itself is only just beginning.

With love,

Sabryna and ShivaChris
