The right to happiness: an initiatory path of inner transformation

The call of the living world… and the resistance

Engage in a Tantra workshop, or even simply feeling the urge to take part, does not stem from an ordinary choice, but from a deeper, almost intimate movement, like a call from the life within that seeks to express itself, to unfold, to rediscover a form of truth and presence. Behind this desire to reconnecting with oneself, of inner transformation and personal development, something whispers, sometimes very softly, an invitation to step outside familiar patterns to encounter another way of being in the world.

And yet, just as this calling is felt, resistances, fears, and doubts emerge to slow down or question this movement. These resistances are no accident; they are an integral part of the path. They protect inner spaces that have not yet been fully met, maintaining an old equilibrium, even if it limits the expansion of the being. Thus, it is not only the unknown of the tantra workshop that can be worrying, but rather what it might deeply reveal, open up, or transform.

The fear of happiness: an inner memory

At the heart of certain experiences lived during the placement, a subtle truth emerged: the right to happiness. And behind it: fear. Not a conscious or obvious fear, but an inner memory, almost inscribed in the body, in habits of thought and in mechanisms of protection.

And what if happiness, far from being inaccessible, was already there, in seed form, ready to emerge... but something in us didn't quite dare to fully welcome it? This question opens up a dizzying space, as it touches upon our deepest conditionings.

Since childhood, we have learned to adapt, to protect ourselves, to control what we feel, to stay in familiar zones, even when these are not fully nourishing. In this context, comfort becomes a form of security, a reassuring structure, but also an invisible limit to our capacity for openness, joy and inner freedom.

Stepping out of this comfort zone, in a process of personal transformation, does not consist solely of moving towards something new, but involves agreeing to let go of what is familiar, including certain forms of restraint, control, or closing of the heart.

Tantra: a path of deconditioning and awakening

Tantra, in its most essential dimension, is not a practice to be mastered, nor a technique to be perfected, but a path of awakening, a way of deconditioning which invites a return to the direct experience of the living world.

In a tantra workshop, it is not about becoming someone else, but about progressively stripping away what hinders the natural flow of energy, presence and consciousness. Fears, resistances and automatic behaviours are not obstacles to be overcome, but thresholds to be crossed, gateways to a deeper understanding of oneself.

By welcoming them into presence, without fleeing or controlling them, they gradually transform, revealing a vast, freer space where the self can unfold effortlessly. This process constitutes the very heart of personal development within a tantric approach: a transformation that is not forced, but permitted.

Crossing the unknown: letting go to be reborn

In this exploration, an essential passage reveals itself: that of letting go. Not a passive surrender, but a conscious openness to what is, beyond the need to understand, control or anticipate.

At first, this can create a form of vertigo, a feeling of losing one's bearings, as if the usual structures are no longer enough to contain the experience. But by remaining present, by breathing through what is being experienced, another space emerges—a space of trust, of fluidity, of embodied presence.

In this space, the experience of tantra becomes initiatory: something within us dies – our old certainties, our old patterns – and something else is born, more alive, more aligned, more free. It is here that true inner transformation takes place.

Allowing oneself happiness: a sacred act

At the heart of this path lies an essential key, one that is often underestimated: permission. Giving oneself permission to feel, to open up, to be touched, but also – and perhaps above all – to experience unconditional happiness.

In a society where tension, effort and control are often valued, allowing oneself to feel well, simply, for no particular reason, can become a truly courageous act, almost a sacred one.

The tantra workshop then becomes a space where this permission can be explored, felt, embodied. A space where the body, the breath, relationship and presence come to support this progressive opening to joy, to gentleness, to life.

Stepping out of the comfort zone to enter the living world

To engage in a process of reconnecting with oneself through tantra, it is about agreeing to leave the zone of the known to enter that of the living. Not in a search for performance or surpassing oneself, but in an authentic encounter with what is there, instant after instant.

This passage does not require any particular strength, but rather a quality of listening, availability, and an openness to the experience as it presents itself. And often, it is the simplest, most humble steps that open the way to the deepest transformations.

An initiation that starts where you are

You do not need to be ready, healed or certain to embark on this kind of journey, because tantra precisely welcomes whatever is present, in all its complexity and beauty. Every emotion, every resistance, every impulse becomes a gateway to greater awareness.

Thus, the path of personal development and inner transformation does not begin elsewhere, but exactly where you are, in this very moment, with what you are feeling.

What if the true passage was this one…

Perhaps the real question is not whether you are ready to experience a tantra workshop, nor even whether you are ready to change.

Perhaps the true transition is more subtle, more intimate, more essential:
are you ready to give yourself the right to be happy?

For at heart, this initiatory path is not so much a quest for something to be attained, but an opening to what is already there, simply waiting to be recognised, welcomed… and lived to the full.
