Let's introduce ourselves

The vision
of the team Tantrâmour

Our approach derives from tantra traditions originating from Kashmiri Shaivism and Buddhist Vajrayana.
We are opening it up to neo-Tantric practices which include psychotherapeutic and bioenergetic approaches.

For us, tantric practice is transformation through Love to exit the illusion of separation and taste the state of Unity.

How does a tantra workshop with Tantrâmour unfold? With whom? What exercises are offered? +

We offer internships, workshops, and support sessions based on exercises for individuals, pairs, and groups, with full respect for oneself and others. You will experience creative and inspiring practices using breath, sound, movement, meditation, and other approaches such as bioenergy, systemic constellations, or tantric and sacred touch.

We also favour creative practices around dance, body awareness and meditation.

Each participant will have a telephone interview, and once their registration is validated, they will commit to the framework of respect and safety (see «TantrÂmour Participant Charter»).

In these sessions, we offer practices to help you feel more alive, more centred, more at ease, and more aware of yourself and the here and now. You'll position yourself at the heart of the gentle whirlwind that your daily life can sometimes be.
This involves mobilising the vital energy withinEach of us, primarily using the 3 keys of Tantra (according to Margot Anand, founder of the SkyDancing Tantra School from which we completed a 2-year training):

  • movement: dance, active meditation, body awakening; ;
  • The voice: mantras, chants, sound liberation ;
  • Breathing: meditations, exercises around the breath, ....

Each stage has different content specific to the proposed theme. Knowing the precise content is of no interest because, taken out of context, the practice has no meaning: the mind categorises, the person could project. The aim is to return to the space of the body, to experience things safely, in the here and now.

It is perfectly possible to speak with the facilitators before a workshop.
There are never any sexual encounters in our retreats, as far as we are aware, in any neo-tantra retreat.
Most of the exercises offered can be reused at home, in your daily life, alone or with your partner.

What about sexuality? +

Tantra is often equated with Kama Sutra practices, which is not the case!
There is no sexual intercourse during the practices.

Tantra, through its practices, allows us to mobilise our sexual energy. However, this energy is also the vital energy that circulates within you and in the universe (cf. Reich's writings). Practising Tantra thus allows you to circulate and increase this vital energy, particularly our orgasmic potential. The suggestions may invite you to connect the sensuality of the body and energy in a subtle and gentle way, without necessarily engaging in overt sexuality.

In this sense, neo-Tantra is a great opening to «sacred sexuality»: this approach allows everyone, men or women, to connect with that vital and divine part that exists within each of us, to relate to others without seeking to take or hold, and without expecting to reach any objective. Sexuality then takes on another dimension, very different from classic sexuality whose scenario is based on the stages of «foreplay, penetration, orgasm».

In this, the experience of neo-Tantra is a path to liberation, the discovery of new possibilities: notably a new relational mode sought for so long!

Should you come alone or as a couple? When you are in a couple, is it better to start by yourself, without your partner? +

In all our courses, you can come alone (if you are single, but also if you are in a relationship without your partner), or as a couple.

We manage gender parity as best as possible so that feminine and masculine energies are balanced. Therefore, you can attend our workshops alone.
Coming alone or as a couple is a very different approach. We also take care to create a safe environment for both couples and individuals.

In case of two players, couples always have priority of choice.

Some people come first as a couple, then alone, or vice versa. There are no rules; everyone does as they feel. Each time it's a different adventure to experience.

To consider neotantra with your partner, it is essential that both are willing and aware of the desire to deepen the relationship in a more sacred and spiritual dimension.

What are the benefits of Tantra for a couple? Does Tantra help to strengthen a couple's bond? +

The benefits of Tantra within a couple are numerous: practicing together first and foremost allows you to get to know each other better, to dare to be yourself and to communicate with each other more peacefully. But this in no way excludes addressing certain unspoken issues, or the tensions and wounds that can pollute the relationship. Tantra within a couple also allows for an opening to another form of sexuality: slower, more conscious, more connected to the sacred. Making love then becomes: «Being connected to one's ultimate nature in supreme communion with the other» – it is a path of Unity.

Tantra remains a personal process. Practising it as a couple involves a certain amount of courage, as it can strengthen the relationship but also accelerate a separation process (if the couple is experiencing difficulties). In such a case, the separation will be more peaceful and will occur without placing blame on the other.

In Tantra, everything is just and accepted in the moment of what is. Learning to communicate with others, whether in a couple or in daily relationships, is very valuable. In our society, at school primarily, we are not taught how to communicate. Listening without justifying oneself is a long journey, alone or with another. Tantra does not preclude, in parallel, therapeutic work to better manage the intensity of what is experienced during the workshops.

What about nudity during internships or workshops? +

Nudity is not systematic; it depends on the practices (such as massages, for example, where it is more logically present). When offered, nudity is introduced in a subtle and sacred manner. It is a process of shedding, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. It's as if armour falls away, and one shows oneself as they are, in their simplicity, their vulnerability, their beauty. This experience, when new, can be a great liberation. And this process can be done gradually, with gentleness and self-compassion. Our Western society carries so many taboos concerning the body. Fears and shame are very often associated with nudity. But if we look at history: in the time of the Greeks and Romans, for example, with the statues that have remained to us: the body was recognized, praised, even deified! Morality had not yet arrived.

Everyone is invited to respect their limits and to wear what they feel is right; nothing is compulsory. The safety framework established at the start of the course or workshop is designed to help you overcome your fears and, if necessary, to expand your horizons. However, under no circumstances should you feel you are in too much difficulty, beyond what is bearable for you.

We repeat it regularly: «you can always do less than what is asked». We are not at school; there is no obligation to follow a practice without taking the time to check if it is okay. We call for free will, for everyone's creativity, within the framework.

If you can become your own being, if you can blossom within your inner nature…
only then can you taste ecstasy, a peace that cannot be expressed in words Osho
