Serving life, transmission and the collective: a year at the heart of SkyDancing Tantra's TEL

When the path invites us to move from experience to service

A few years ago, we each attended the TEL (Training for Ecstasy and Love) at the SkyDancing Tantra School as participants. At that time, we were engaged in our own inner journeys, with the sincere impetus to know ourselves better, deepen our relationship with ourselves and others, and explore this path of Tantra which had already begun to transform our outlook on life.

This journey has profoundly marked our respective paths. It has nourished our practice, our relationship with the living, our way of loving, of accompanying, and of inhabiting the world.

Then, in time, the conscious desire arose within us to return to this school that had given us so much. Not as participants this time, but as assistants. Not because the opportunity presented itself by chance, but because we felt a deep urge to dedicate ourselves to this transmission that had meant so much in our journeys.

This is how we chose to accompany three one-week TEL courses as a couple over the course of this year.

Today, as we return from this third and final week, we measure how much this experience has transformed, nourished, and inspired us.

Discovering what makes transformation possible

When participating in a Tantra or personal development workshop, our attention is naturally focused on our personal experience: the practices, encounters, realisations, emotions that we go through, and the opportunities that arise for us.

Being an assistant allows one to discover another reality.

A reality often invisible to the participants' eyes.

We had the privilege of observing what goes on behind the scenes in these transformative spaces. We saw how the quality of a team's presence, the cohesion of staff, the clarity of the framework, the ability to accommodate the unexpected, and attention to detail contribute to creating the conditions in which everyone can feel safe enough to engage with their own process.

Over the weeks, we've been touched by the beauty of this collective work. We've discovered that behind every meaningful experience a participant has lived, there is often a multitude of simple gestures, discreet presences, and acts of service performed wholeheartedly.

This invisible dimension of support deeply inspired us.

Tantra as a living experience of presence

Perhaps one of the most valuable lessons from this year lies in this renewed understanding of what truly transforms people.

Certainly, the proposed practices are powerful. The meditations, awareness exercises, relational explorations, rituals, and sharing times all serve as gateways to a deeper self-knowledge.

But beyond the practices themselves, we observed how quality of presence is an essential factor for transformation.

We saw people feel comfortable taking off their guard because they felt welcomed.

We have seen hearts open up because a sufficiently safe space had been created.

We have seen individuals regain their confidence because they encountered a kind gaze or authentic listening.

Tantra constantly reminds us that the awakening of consciousness is not solely achieved through teachings. It also comes through the quality of presence we offer each other.

And this year allowed us to experience it even more profoundly.

An extraordinary school for supporting groups

Three weeks of remote learning felt like real-life, hands-on training.

Observing the facilitators, supporting group dynamics, welcoming emotional movements, perceiving individual needs while maintaining a global view of what is unfolding collectively represents an immensely rich learning experience.

Each day has been an opportunity to refine our understanding of human mechanisms, the creation of a safe framework, and the subtle art of support.

We're leaving with an even finer understanding of what allows a group to become a true space for growth, healing, and transformation.

All these learnings now deeply nourish the spaces we propose through TantrÂmour workshops and the TantrÂmour Festival.

They remind us that support is above all an art of presence, listening, and humility.

A profoundly transformative couple's adventure

Beyond the educational and human dimension, this year also represented a wonderful adventure for us as a couple.

Sharing three weeks of service on the same project led us to further develop our capacity to collaborate, support each other and adapt in action.

We have been through moments of intense joy, more challenging periods, unexpected situations, and moments of grace together.

We have learned to trust each other more, to rely on one another, and to put our complementary skills to work for a common vision.

This experience reminded us how much a couple can become a genuine path of growth when they choose to serve something larger than their personal concerns.

Meeting Margot Anand: returning to the source

As a wink from life, this third and final week was marked by the presence of Margot Anand.

To be able to meet the founder of the SkyDancing Tantra school again, to hear her words, to listen to her free perspective on life and to benefit from her immense experience has been a precious gift.

Beyond the joy of the meeting, it allowed us to reconnect more deeply with the essence of this school and the Tantric lineages that inspired its teaching.

There is something particularly touching about returning to the source of a transmission that has helped shape a significant part of one's own path.

These moments will remain etched in our hearts for a long time.

A page turns, another already begins.

Today, as this final week draws to a close, we feel the unique flavour of cycles coming to their end.

A page is turned.

Not with nostalgia.

But with gratitude.

We feel we’ve experienced an exceptionally rich year. A year of service, learning, encounters, experiences, and growth.

We also know that everything that has been experienced will continue to infuse our approach to support, teach, and create spaces for transformation.

Because the real teachings never stop when the internship comes to an end.

They continue to live in us.

They are gradually becoming a way of being, of looking at the world and meeting others.

To continue transmitting and celebrating life

This year spent at the heart of the TEL reminds us why we love creating spaces for connection, awareness, and celebration so much.

She confirms that there is now an immense need for places where human beings can slow down, meet authentically, shed their masks, and find a deeper connection with themselves, with others, and with life.

It is this vision that continues to inspire the TantrÂmour workshops and the TantrÂmour Festival.

Create spaces where everyone can grow at their own pace.

Spaces where consciousness meets joy.

Where depth meets celebration.

Where the spiritual path remains profoundly human.

And where life can fully express itself.

With love,

Sabryna and ShivaChris 💖
