SACRED UNION: AT THE HEART OF THE LIVING

When Tantra, the Merkaba, and sacred geometry become an embodied experience

For 4 days, participants of the TantrÂmour retreat «Sacred Union: At the Heart of the Living – Merkaba: Tantra & Sacred Geometry» experienced far more than a simple personal development workshop. What took place within the group space felt more like an inner transformation experience, a sensory journey where the body, breath, energy, and consciousness were invited to meet in a rare quality of presence.

Over the course of the testimonies shared at the end of the internship, we noticed that one word kept coming up: transformation. Some participants report arriving tired, scattered, or questioning, and leaving «re-energised,» deeply soothed, full of energy and momentum for the rest of their journey. In just a few days, many speak of a feeling of inner openness, as if something has been deeply realigned.

One of them compares their journey to a mountain hike: previously focused on the obstacles and «pebbles» in the path, they now explain that they look at them differently, with gentleness and acceptance, to the point of considering them an integral part of the beauty of the journey. A powerful image that illustrates the spirit of this workshop: transforming the way one looks at oneself and at life.

The power of the group and of glances

Beyond the proposed practices, it was also the human quality of the experience that left a mark on the participants. Several testimonials mention the intensity of the gazes exchanged, that strange and moving sensation of recognising someone «as if you'd known them forever». In a safe, caring, and deeply embodied space, participants were able to shed their masks, slow down, and enter into a different quality of relationship.

The group's energy has been described as a real, living support. Some speak of an immediate sense of welcome, others of a new freedom to dare to step outside their comfort zone without fear of judgment. A participant of foreign origin emotionally expressed her gratitude for being fully welcomed despite the language barrier and her slight accent. Everyone seems to have felt this subtle alchemy that sometimes occurs when beings meet with a sincere intention of truth and presence.

Breathing differently, feeling differently

The workshop also offered energetic and bodily work inspired by Tantra, sacred geometry and the universe of the Merkaba. For several participants, certain practices opened up entirely new perceptions. One participant recounted discovering another way of breathing, particularly «through the crown,» as a vaster and more subtle circulation of energy than what they had known until then.

Others mention particularly striking experiences with conscious touch and tantric massage. One of the most frequently cited moments was a threesome massage, which some experienced as a profoundly transformative inner experience. One participant even speaks of a «soul transformation,» describing a moment when the usual boundaries of the mind seemed to fade, giving way to a feeling of unity and connection.

Even individuals new to the worlds of Tantra or Merkaba have reported being able to fully engage in the practices with simplicity and fluidity. One participant, for instance, spoke of discovering the sacred geometry exercises with wonder, feeling a deep desire to memorise and integrate what she had learned in order to continue this exploration after the workshop.

The Merkaba as a path to inner union

At the heart of this experience lay the symbolism of the Merkaba, this sacred geometry composed of two interlocking tetrahedrons representing, notably, the union of polarities: the feminine and the masculine, Shiva and Shakti, the principles of consciousness and energy. Far from being solely theoretical teaching, this symbolism was experienced in a profoundly embodied way through the practices, meditations, breathing exercises, and group interactions.

As the organisers and facilitators of this workshop, we (Sabryna & ShivaChris) would like to share our joy at having brought this new co-creation to life, blending energy, the subtle realms, numbers and tantric science. ShivaChris recounts having watched with emotion as faces relaxed over the course of the days, hearts gradually opened up, and each person’s unique qualities blended together to form a harmonious collective dynamic.

Sabryna, for her part, highlights the unprecedented nature of this proposal: after proposals in tantra women's retreats (the «Sovereign Woman» cycle carried out in 2022-2023), it was the first time that this work around the Merkaba and sacred geometry had been experienced in a mixed group. A pioneering exploration which, for us, seems to have opened up unexpected spaces of consciousness and connection.

A synchronicity around Pentecost

One of the most striking elements for us was also to note this particular synchronicity: the retreat took place during the Pentecost weekend, and we only discovered this on the last day! A lovely coincidence that took on its full meaning in light of the themes explored during these few days: breath, descending and ascending energy, the opening of the heart, the union of heaven and earth.

In many spiritual traditions, Pentecost symbolises the descent of the living breath, of the spirit into matter. A powerful resonance with the experience proposed during this retreat, where participants were indeed invited to allow more life, consciousness and presence to circulate within their bodies and relationships.

During this closing sharing time, we also expressed our gratitude to the «energies» and symbolic presences that accompanied this work, with a special mention of the Sri Yantra, lent for the occasion by a Sangha brother, who came to energetically support this practice space.

Towards new tantric explorations

In the wake of the intensity of what has been experienced, the TantrÂmour adventure continues soon with a new seminar entitled « The Alchemy of Ecstasy », equipped with 14th to 19th August 2026 – still at the Hameau de l’Étoile. This new immersion will revisit Tantric teachings around ascending and descending energetic polarities, rituals between women, between men, time in nature, guided Tantric meditations, as well as a renewed approach to conscious touch and Tantric massage.

The intention remains the same: to offer a space for inner transformation, reconnection with the living, and a sensitive exploration of the sacred union between body, heart, and consciousness.

This dynamic will also continue through the second edition of TantrÂmour Festival, you 29 August to 4 September 2026 – an immersive gathering bringing together 200 festival-goers and a team of 53 people: therapists, teachers, artists, musicians and facilitators from different countries. Designed as a true village of life, the festival will offer tantra, yoga and acroYoga workshops, meditations, with a large place for art in all its forms (alchemical painting, devotional dance, etc.), bodily and energetic practices, concerts, cacao ceremonies, Ecstatic Dance sessions with international DJs, and spaces for meditation, dance and artistic creation.

Beyond practices, the TantrÂmour Festival wishes to create a profoundly human space where everyone can explore the relationship with oneself, with others, and with the sacred within a kind, conscious, and inclusive setting. An invitation to celebrate life, the beauty of connection, and the transformative power of shared presence.
